Hi All,

Has anyone had there Buell serviced worked on by Maulden Motorcycle Repair (Bedfordshire). I have had a chat with Steve the owner, but just thought I would put it out on here.

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Steve's a good guy and a Buell factory trained technician. I class him as a mate so I could be biased but he has done a good job on a couple of older bikes for me. I think he's experienced with the 1125 but he'll tell you straight if you ask him.

Steve

Hi Steve,

Thought I should ask the question, just to see what reaction I got.
Thanks for the endorsement. Need my rotor doing, he has done a few, its not so far from me to make the drop off and arrangements.

Hey Alchemist.....is the rotor mod a preventative or are you doing a repair due to the usual smoking stator shenanigans?
I did mine last year and can pass on some tips if required.....

Hi,

No,the stator seems fine, I have been told the Rotor mod has not been done, but the bike is on 19K. Knowing my luck it happens while I am out on it.

Thanks,

Andy

Ahh ok....a wise precaution... :D and of course, it'll fail whilst you're out and more likely at the furtherest point from home, in the rain, when you don't have your phone.......what year is the CR?

Lovely CR, looks as mint as could be.

Unfortunately though, only half of what Osteveo says is correct, it's the Black Anniversay 1125r that's the fastest. 8-)

And the other half, jazzbutcher spells incorrectly!! :couch: .....I think deep down,we all know that a well sorted CR is the ultimate.
