Managed to get a sunny ride out yesterday on my newly acquired 2008 xb12s The difference between this and my cr is huge,
Few observations ...
Seat bone hard,
Suspension bone hard,
Vibrates loads through foot pegs,
Deceptively fast if you let the revs rise,
Feels chunky and heavier than the cr,
Addictive induction noise,
When going quicker over bumps feels like something tapping under my left foot,
Has like a dry whirring sound like a dry bearing or something or is that how they sound,
Really pleased with it though never ridden a motorcycle that is so involving.

Roll on summer.. :D

I'd check out the wheel bearings and belt idler bearings before riding it again...
