Slim pickings this year at the TT, well it was bad all round but here goes. My touring S1 first then the visitors. I saw a Dutch X1 but failed to find it to take a photo as well as an 1125.

Nice. Not a great TT this year with the weather and short races and all.

The Senior was great. As it should have been, a test of machine and man - the fact that Hickman had an issue with the cooling which robbed him of another first proved this. Dean really deserved his win and Hickman was a true sportsman in his praise and congratulations.

A shame about the Norton and John - he has a lot of work to do. The youngsters are a hard act for him to keep up with. Having said that, he has absolutely nothing to prove - he’s a racing legend :worthy:

I’ve been listening to it on Manx AM which was really enjoyable and made the working day more bearable :D

I so want to go and marshal - once I retire it’s a defo. Maybe a UKBEG squad? :yup:

A quick note to "t965m". We have been going to the TT since 1982, and my advice is go now before it's too late. The quality of the racing improves year on year no doubt about it, but, and it's a big but, everything else gets worse. Venues have gone, pubs have closed, hotels turned into luxury apartments, no stunt shows, Busheys shunted to the Villa Marina, apart from the funfair, useless to us, the prom in Douglas is dead. This year may well be our last. P.S. The IOM Steam Packet I will not even mention.

Talking to a local guy who was going and shocked at the price of the boat for bike and passenger now doubled since I last went and wages have nowhere near go up by that much , you could fly to Spain for a week for that much ( and no rain)
Last time I went roads were jam packed with people in cars, couldn’t get a decent lap in.
Always remember the first time I went, along the prom at Douglas was at least 4 deep in bikes both sides of the road for as for as the eye could see :old:

That’s sad to read :( We’ve got friends and family living over there so should be good for accommodation.

We’ll not take the bikes - we did the Manx a few years ago and the bikes were mental then. We’d love to go and do the island out of race periods and hopefully the metal bikers who think they’re Connor won’t be around :D
