Well I am persevering and intend to get a few basic issues sorted to sweeten the ride, first item being replacement of front oil seals, but here the first hurdle, HD don't expect any OE seals in stock until at least August..... Can anyone advise on any good quality pattern parts which may be available? I am led to believe the forks are WP and may have been used on the older KTM range at some point!??
I bow to your judgment and look forwards to any decent suggestions for locating some seals

Rich

I think there's some advice about this in the Archive section. I've a feeling that Honda seals fit, but this may only be for Showa forks.

I recall Maz telling me that none of the compatible oil seals work well in the WP forks, only the original WP seals are reliable. I'm sure he'll chime in if my memory is incorrect on that.

Try calling WP directly and see what they say also any of the race bike suspension specialists may have the information on alternative seals you require. :yup:

I recon the excessive vibration was due to the exhaust rear mount fracture which allowed it to riub against the rear shock, coupled to it running a bit rich on the mixture which amplified the issue as well as choked me!!
