I realised Buells were classics but to appear in the "British Motorcycle Preservation Society" display at a local transport show, especially so soon after the July 4th Independence celebrations seems to be wilfully ignoring history....then again Morini got in on the act as well. Nice little event.

The Welsh connection is very local to us, my brother bought a Barton Phoenix frame/tank seat from them probably in the late 80's intending to fit a spare Triumph Trident motor he had in it, major miscalculation it would never fit! Subsequently sold and is now apparently fully re built as a Phoenix. All I have left is this compliments slip... (Their premises was subsequently used by Bran Bardsley Classic Suzuki Spares).
