Having read recent reports of other owner's woes, I've been happily ticking along, adding to my 55k+ miles without any recent issues, but there's always a sting in'there.
On route to the Emporium Open day a fortnight back, the engine just died as if someone had hit the kill switch. Happened not once, but twice so turned up with the bike in the back of a recovery van.
Check-over by Maz, no faults, no stored errors and all running OK while in the workshop.
Went away and got home without issue and over the week I went over all the electrical connections ('cept those under the airbox) to check all ok and clean.
Saturday, 150ish miles up to the Lakes, all good.
Sunday, 30ish miles all good, then I stopped for coffee.
Returning to the bike 1 hour later it would only run on the rear pot. Got the tools out and front spark OK so not getting fuel for some reason. Recovery called again.
Some advice via
this morning to concentrate on the wiring to the injectors (it does get hot over the top of the engine and they do feel fragile) and potentially a new injector (strewth, not cheap are they)
