Hi I've seen a few questions about the xb Headlight reflector damage /fading. Thought I'd share that I had mine resilverd (chromed)and the results are very good and the coating should be better than the original Italian one. You have to remove the reflector yourself, easy done just be gentle with it. The company is dual metallising in Birmingham but it's going to to cost around the £100. mark. Still that's cheaper than some of the broken ones for sale on eBay!

The low beam reflector on my 09 XT at 27000 miles is turning a dark brown colour must be heat damage off the bulb, whilst my mates 08 XB12 scg low beam at 31000 miles looks like new so must be a dodgy batch/cheaper supplier on later bikes. The MOT tester mentioned it last year so will need sorting. Thanks for the information on a fix.
