I am going to do a few jobs on my S1 before the Summer, firstly I have a new oil pump gear to replace , looking at the instructions on the NL forum it looks as if I only need a gear case gasket and 2 exhaust gaskets, and to do my primary chain drive tensioner it looks like I just need a timing case gasket, can anyone tell me if there are any other ones I need before I start to take it apart, and where is the best place to order them Thanks. |

There`s a tale of woe on here about not adhering to the proper procedure when taking cam case off. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=21031&hilit=oil+pump+gear+replace There is a post about doing it, in technical section I fink. |

thanks i found it viewtopic.php?p=206608#p206608, I do remember reading about letting the pushrod settle before turning the engine I assume it is to stop the extra oil extending the pushrod and bending a valve when you turn the engine. |
