Hi,

I have a Buell S3T chassis which was modified many years ago to suit an S1 Back end however i am now looking to put this frame back to stock and rebuild as an S3T. Would anyone with an S3T or S3T frame be willing to take some measurements / angles of the various sections in the frame back end ?

Main frame is unchanged and as i can fit in correct Oil tank i don't believe the tubing at that section has been altered however would ideally like measurements and angles for all tubing in the tail section in relation to the main frame back ?

Is there anyone who can possibly assist ?

Best Wishes

Neil

Yeh I have already downloaded as many pictures as I can find however I have not yet found a picture of straight on the side of the bike and without scale it will not be possible to get the lengths involved.

I can backwards engineer to a certain extend from the seat unit itself at least as far as mounting points but figured it was worth asking the question.

Cheers
Neil

Might be worth a PM to S3Tim, Neil. He doesn't come on here a lot but has been recently while he's been getting his bike back on the road. I'm sure he would be happy to take some measurements for you.

Steve

Hi Tim,

That’s great let me mark on some photos the measurements I am neededing and will get back to you by pm. No issues with being 1997 as the tail section was unchanged on all years barring different ecm mount and mine is only a 1998 anyway.

Best wishes

Neil
