Spent an enjoyable few hours with Tubbs at Moorespeed today optimising the performance of my bike. I've always been pretty happy with the power output from the engine and it has always shown well on Dyno runs. It's certainly no slouch on the road either, as a few of you will agree. ;)
So what did Tubbs do to make it even better?
He fitted 2 new tyres, my new Prolite disc, new pads front and rear and as it is Xmas, I treated her to a blingy mini reservoir for the fluid. Also replaced the front wheel bearings, as one side was a bit fucked after 22,000 miles.
I'd like to say that I noticed an immediate improvement, but as it was about minus 1 when I left, scrubbing in the new rubber was never going to be on the cards today.
I'm glad that I rode over, instead of just taking the loose wheels, as a few minor issues that I wouldn't have noticed in my dark damp garage were put to bed as well.
Many thanks to Tubbs for his patience and spannering skills and to Colin for the coffee and a good deal. 8-)
I'd highly recommend Moorespeed Racing to anyone within travelling distance of Poole, they are good people.

Oh yeah, you just got to see the V-Rod in the flesh. 8-) 8-)

I couldn't buy him a Macky D as I'm banned. See jokes page.
