Hightech adjustable tool to compensate the difference

yes you should use an adjustable front stand for the slight difference in fork leg length.
You can use the standard front stand, but be very careful when replacing the spindle to make sure it doesn't go in crossed.
(when its removed the forks settle to the same height so the holes are out of line)

If it works for an X-wing, why not an XB?...
