Absolutely devastated,

Had my pride and joy stolen today from EC2 in London.

Picture of it here:
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=8068&hilit=pricing

Please keep a look out for it, and it's parts should it not be recovered (I'm happy to describe any little characteristics over PM.

Any advice on what to do next to get it back is certainly welcome. Lodged with police / trace / insurance etc just a few minutes ago.

I'll keep you all updated with latest. I have only been back from a Maz visit a few weeks to get it sorted and it was running like new.. :evilh:

Thanks Duchman. Hopefully the police will be able to see more, as it was in a heavily CCTV covered area (I can count at least 4). Still in the HOPE zone, but I do know that the odds diminish quickly. Still in shock.

Gutted for you mate. I hope the police manage to find it for you and that it's unharmed.

You could try putting photos in shops offering a reward. The area it was stolen is almost blanket covered by CCTV. Maybe the police can get an idea of direction it was heading etc.............they would then have some idea as to the area(s) to look........if they can be bothered.

I feel your pain, any buell is special, one treated to the Maz is better than new so better still. I am at the office, EC2, tomorrow, not that I can imagine I will see anything, but rest assured these two eyes will be looking.

Bstds.

Doug

I'm not on facebook. Would anyone be willing to post the details and/or link to this post on BABT

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id= ... 646&v=wall

Very much appreciated.

Also, should I post the rego on here? I remember reading a car forum that made me think it might not be a good idea (cloning etc), but I'm open to any advice at the moment.

Cheers all. Believe it or not, it does make me feel a little better that you all have taken an interest. What a great forum.
