The TPS sensor is located on the right side of the throttle body as you sit on the bike. There are 3 wires to the sensor plug, green, black & red.

You fit the 'T' connector to the green wire then plug in the the yellow wire that comes from the poerizer into this connector.

If I remember correctly, the wires from the TPS sensor are very short and a bugger to get at.

Hope this helps?

They glow red? You mean that they are red hot at tick over or after a 5 minute ride?

If either are the case, you'll need help from a tech guy here. I'm sure someone will post a reply soon.

The XBs have got very little advance at idle hence hot pipes due to late burn. A few of use advanced our ignitions by 10 degrees or so a year or so ago. It seems to have filtered back to Erik cos the 2010 models now have 7 deg more advance.

Not looked at the timing tables for 1125s yet.

Is this done at any service interval by HD for those not adjusted (IE my 09 bike)?

Dont worry about it. It will go away with some miles on the engine, as it beds in, and the engine will then run cooler.
