Hi Folks,

Anyone know if 1125r rear drive belts are available & if so where? Just searched & all I can find is a second hand one. Do any Harley ones fit or anything else that is compatible?
I don't need one yet but I'd like to have one just in case.

Thanks Paul.

At the risk of being accused a thread hijacker... :ner: ...sounds like you might be suggesting an expected life...? I guess it must depend on riding style and how unlucky you are with stones, glass or bricks thrown by pedestrians...
7000 on mine btw.

Ha ha, Should've seen that one F***in' coming a mile off.
Thanks Maz I'll get round to coming over at some point, could use few running items anyway & would also be cool to meet you whilst I have money to buy stuff.
As far as life expectancy I was thinking 15/20000 miles based on what I don't know about how much or how badly ridden this 1125r has been. Shit I was thinking after my first ten miles "get a new Belt" it was jerking round like a f****n' wild boar. It's so much better now. Thanks in the main to info from forum members.

Gotta dodge peds with bricks https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/14 ... s_on_A666/

7k you should be fine if the belt looks in good nick. We did mine at 16k I think, before heading to France, took the old one as a spare just in case but it looked to be in pretty good condition, better than my Uly spare anyways.

Bloody tuff looking belts the new ones, hummed when running for the first couple of thousand miles as was so tight. I'm sure I read somewhere the 1125 belt will last as long as the bike, not that I believe it :)

Maz reckons we should try and do them about half a mile before they break BTW ;)
