I don't find it obvious at all.
If it said 3/16ths or 1/4 or any fraction size I would understand that, as that is obvious, but 10-32 isn't, ANSI/ASME B1.1, F**k, I must've missed science class as well.
I've managed to replace nearly every bolt on my 1125r without having to read a book & I'm not about to read ASME B1.1-2003 [Revision of ASME B1.1-1989 (R2001), a whole F****n' book on thread sizes as that is just totally anal.
Jesus, I only wanted a F****n' bolt size folks.

Please don't piss off Pash, as he is an absolute legend and worth his weight in gold. An absolute mine of information :yup:

Unreserved apologies to anyone who was offended especially Pash, I know you're a legend & I can be a dick at times.
My apologies.
All the best Paul.

I was being ironic and I’m certainly not offended. You don’t need to read that document, you have the info already from the thread (no pun intended).

And the final thing is that 10-32 has a major diameter of 0.190” with a pitch of 32tpi. 3/16 is 0.1875” so 10-32 is slightly bigger and is hence not 3/16 UNF.

Why? I’m sure there is an answer somewhere.
