Hi folks. Hoping for some advice. After a long 'enthusiastic' run out I now have a headlamp held in place in the fairing by wishfull thinking only!
One of the threaded screws has gone. All four black plugs which hold the the threaded pins in place on the back of the lamp are missing or shot. I have the four threaded plastic parts which hold the pins to the steel headlamp mounting frame only. Hopefully the mounting posts in the back of the lamp are okay.
Riders of Bristol say they can't help but I can't be the first person to have this issue.
So if you have never had an S3T or S2T then this will all be a meaningless rambling but if you have had one, know of any solutions or where parts can be acquired then please let me know. I have been told the headlamp and mounts are essentially off a car but don't know which model. Any ideas?
Fingers crossed !
Phil

This has got to be close to the problems of owning a bsa, matchless, early Norton. The longer you keep it the more you have to be self sufficient. There will be something out there that will do the job
