Hi All,

Apologies if this has been raised already.

I've recently purchased a Buell XB9 SX and I'm looking to replace the stock muffler on it with another refurbished one. The refurbed one is described as to be made between 2008-2010. My Buell is a 2007 model (07 plate). Will this muffler fit?

My current exhaust is popping like crazy on deceleration where the previous owner removed the baffle and hasn't had it remapped.

Any help or alternatives would be really appreciated.

Many thanks,
Dan.

From memory the change in exhaust downpipe diameter and consequently link to muffler applied to the XB12s rather than the XB9s but it does mean that you need the correct muffler for a 9.

I know I should know better but it was more than ten years ago, I'm not very technical and a lot has happened since then
