From my thread in the Chat section, working my way through the fault code for the " AMC stuck open" 21-5-1. now stalled with confirming the tick to switch off the valve can anyone let me know what i'm doing wrong. (this is my first time using the SPY software first time I have ever used a diagnostic program)

I have searched on here but all the threads relating to this are based on the V1 spy software.

Found my way in to the system cleared the fault code for the exhaust valve and found the enable exhaust valve box in “system” clicked the box which removed the tick but each time I shut spy down and started the bike on came the ECM light again, I go back into spy and find the tick has reappeared, I must be missing a confirm action after I have removed the tick but can’t see how to confirm the action can anyone help.

I don't know the answer as I am not a fuel infection person. Do you have the pdf file - ECM Tuning Notes for Buell DDFI and DDFI-2 2nd Edition? Shed loads of info in there written by Nick P and Gunter.

Once you've checked the boxes go to EEPROM on the top tool bar and then burn to ECM.

HI Zed,
If all else fails put a couple of layers of nicely trimmed black tape over the light, or disconnect it for the MOT. JB

Thanks all for your help here, without that help I would have probably given up on the Uly, off to the MOT test in the morning.

Hi Zed,
Thanks for posting the lead back (no rush) glad to help & well done for making one. :yup:
Did the bike pass it's MOT?
Only ridden the Honda once & told them to take it back (no response yet & still building costs for the 3rd party & lining somebody's pocket).
I really only ride for the pleasure of riding & for the feel of the 1125r under my control. The Honda isn't a pleasurable ride & a toddler could mange it.
Thanks in advance for the return of the cable. JB

MOT past :D :D

The 1125 and a blanda are I would imagine extreme opposite ends of the motorcycle spectrum.
Hope you find your way back to a Buell again soon.
Regards
Andrew
