Is there any way of checking or testing the ECM from a Buell X1?

I have been trying to trace and eliminate the faults one by one, but I keep coming back to the ECM - before I chase myself in circles, I'd ideally need to test that this component is working!

:headbang:

Apologies if this should not be in Technical, as it has been a while since I've posted to UKBEG.

Thanks

I have brand new and second hand ECM's in stock.
