Hi,
Does anybody know if I can replace the LED indicators, on my 1125, with bulbs (21W). Can the Flasher Can take the extra current?
Cheers,
Murray. 😎

There might be some issue with the flash rate even if the current can be supplied.......sounds like you might be swapping out the Indicator stalks....can you not chose led items?

Hi Ohsteveo,
Yeah I am replacing the front indicators. The new ones have bulbs in them but I think if I put LED bulbs in, they might be OK. I haven't received them yet but I will give it a try when they arrive.
Cheers for the reply,
Murray.

Hi Murray, I've currently got two bulbs on the rear & two leds on the front, I've also used 4 bulbs with no problems with flash rate. Standard flasher unit.
All the best.

worse case change the flasher relay for an early one that did not have LED's have just done the opposite on my ully, taken the original bulb relay out and replaced with a later LED relay. Works a treat and just a couple of quid

I don't think the 1125 has a flasher unit/relay and the flash rate is set using either the ECU or instrument cluster....someone will surely be along to give the correct answer....

I finally got this done. I fitted the new front indicators with 21 watt bulbs and they flashed too fast. I changed the bulbs for LED type bulbs and all is fine now. 😎
