I paid £50 last week for the Buell fitting kit alone to convert a Harris stand I had.

Daft question: is that a rear stand, the cups look like they are on the wrong side for an XB - or am I completely losing it?

It is a rear stand, your right the cups are on the wrong side, mine are on the inside but its only 2 x R clips hold them in place.

Dont know why that guy has them like that.

Maybe thats why he's selling it as he cant get it to lift the bike

Do i need a special paddock stand for my xb, or will the standard fitments you get work ok?

I use Micron stands with the rubber cups, less than £20 on EBay.

Any good dealer will supply one, be sure to ask for a long one when you ask though

Would the center stand be compatable with the Touratech bash guard?

Spen was amusingly pointing out that the onboard centre stand, missing for so many years but making something of a comeback, was a far better idea than the paddock stand. There is no such option for a Buell, sadly.

Onboard centre stand?? Inclinometer, if you please.....

I was wondering because I searched for centerstands before I bought the XT as it was something that can come in handy when touring. Thats why I didn't find anything.
