Guy from the retail supply trade said that the warehouse stocks and supples were fine and there is plenty to go around. It’s just people’s stupidity in the shops that makes a shortage!

Getting really stupid now with people waiting early morning for supermarkets to open so that they can clear the shelves before everyone else wakes up. :headbang:

Asking about my line of business a qualified source said we’re into the panic stage at the moment, but we just carry on! The main thing is that transportation has to keep delivering goods or the country is really f****d! ;)

Having said all that Boris and co have just said that the money will be made available.....billions of it.
God knows what inflation will be when it’s over, but that’s the least of our worries. :old:

we tend to forget toilet paper ( this new soft stuff) is a modern thing, we managed for hundreds of years before it came a long , like wise with disposable nappies , in the old days it was basicly a towel that got washed and re used now there's an

easy way to stop panic buying .
shops to introduce a doubling up on price for multi items
so rather than buy one get one free
buy one get second at twice the price, 3rd at three times the price .....

The neck on some folk is breathtaking. I have it on good authority that a woman went into our local Boots recently. She was wearing a very distinctive yellow coat. She bought the rationed commodity (hand sanitizer I believe) went to her car, took off her coat, returned and tried to buy more. When challenged by the staff she denied ever having been in previously and promptly kicked off!

I am driving a lorry for the next two days with a vital commodity on board, I will be offering free cuddles, so it could be good.....I am also taking a new toilet roll with me, so when at the traffic lights, I can taunt other road users with my smugness. :ner: lOl

I shall be wearing a full ski mask and tinted safety glasses at all times.
