Hi All have being toying with the idea of letting the X1 go as i cleary don`t use it and have been thinking of replacing it with something different..the bike was taken off the road in sept 2012 after i had a few issues ,broken mounting on the Vance and Hines silencer and an oil leak from a bolt that secures the chin fairing on the primary case , so have had the frame powder coated,new head race bearings ,lucky hands oil pump gear and all necessary gaskets,timing cover cut down and polished silencer repacked and repaired and oil leak stopped ,also fitted a new rear braided brake line and banjo bolt brake light switch, just nedd to sort out the head breathers and should be off for an MOT..have lots of spares to go with the bike..new loom, spare ecm,rear alloy frame,and 2 good belts,and the original underseat tray/number plate holder...i`d be happy to get £3250 for the bike with a fresh mot and all the spares to go with it...

Some advice

1. Keep it. My Ducati is a far superior bike to my X1, but I was going to sell one, the Ducati would go without a second thought.

2. £3250 is too cheap.

Its a decision thats taken me along time to come to , but i want to have a vtwin still , i'll have to ride the X1 and see if i still enjoy riding it..

If you don't then you may be dead, but haven't fallen over yet

its still up for grabs...

If I could sell both my other bikes, I'd be very tempted.
