What happened to your scraping theory?

in my mind no theory fact ..you only negate the scrapping by lifting the pump with the STD gear ...in my findings ......on only one of my bikes :D :D :D :D

A good question. Willy tapped up HPC and so did I afterwards. For them to make 50, they wanted £85 each...

If you know somewhere reputable that could make them cheaper, lets hear it...
That's a bit pricey then. Plus VAT too I guess.

There's shed loads of people around who can make those. There's a mob in Manchester who make gears and gearboxes for bikes. Spen will know them as they're CRMC people. In the past, I had wondered if they could make gears for Sportster/Buell gearboxes where the dogs don't break off, but never got round to talking to them. http://www.mpe07.co.uk/index.html

Yep, I know Ellis, he does some top work at very good prices. Sorted me some straight cut primaries for my Suzuki, won 8 Championships on them and still as good as new when the bike was retired.

Ding, dong :yup: I'll have one please, Nick. I was going to investigate tonight anyway. How fortuitous. Will transfer funds to you as soon as you give us a price. Thanks :4roz:

Steve

Interestingly, no names, but one member has 30k on his LH gear on his X1, it was removed as part of another operation, checked and replaced. It had negligible wear...
