It's the same story. EVERY time my partner and I have chased a Buell (Uly or XB12SCG) Herman has got there first. Admittedly, we've only been looking seriously at the Ulys for a month or so but at the SCGs for a good six months and they seem to be in the 'hens teeth' zone!
Luckily, we've landed an immaculate SCG (but paid through the nose for it
). There was no other way! I've also found my Uly but not picked it up yet. We already had a Blast that underwent a mild restoration last year and it's a fantastic little bike that got us all 'Buellled up' for more.
Good luck with the Harley. Ignoring the comments from my biking mates, I took a test ride on a Sportster and really enjoyed it. That Fat Bob is stunning.
