From the web site
"Another question we often get asked is 'Where are your jackets made'? Lewis Leathers jackets have always been made in the UK and this is still the case, our jackets are made in London and this facility allows us to offer a fast made to measure service to everyone, be they mail order customers or visitors to our shop. Depending on the time of year Made to Measure jackets take around 4 weeks from order to delivery, in peak production time (October - February) they may take up to six weeks to be delivered."

As for the Ace brigade, personally I just think they are old school cool 8-) A good quality leather bike jacket with only a discrete label, that doesn't make you look like and walking advertisement.

After saying that though, I have a blue and black cordura Alpinstars jacket with shoulder and elbow armour :oooops:

Didn't do me any good yesterday though, as I wasn´t wearing it while sitting on the bike in the garage making "broom broom" noises, then forgot I´d flicked the side stand up!
No damage, just my pride and a slightly bent clutch lever, and a nice bruise on my arm where I fell onto the compressor and knocked the grinder post over. Bugger! :oooops:

:) Economy here is dire! I´d have to save my pennies at the mo. if I wanted one. Rather do that than buy crap though.
Lost my job recently, but moved straight into another one fortunately, as we´d just moved house.
Took a big drop in salary, so my projects will have to slow down a bit. :sad1:
But at least we have bread on the table, which is more than a lot of folks in Spain right now. :(
