As I said in the phone Maz, If you have time to do it then that's cool as its already with you so it makes sense. On the other hand though its not yet at 10k and doesn't immediately need the service, so if your workshops rammo then I'll get the major service done next year.

Rather than spending money on couriering the bike again though I'd rather pick it up, or get one of my mates to grab it on his way down from Catterick. Just need to know either way really so that I can make the arrangements.

Hi Maz. I've been thinking about the service and the cost and it's probably isn't worth doing it this year. It's really an expense I can put off for at least another year as I doubt I'll put more than a few hundred miles max on it this season.

Can you mend the bits we spoke of that need mending/ replacing and get it road worthy again please Maz and I'll collect he bike.

Cheers.

Tom, if cost is a problem, there's a bloke selling some bits that would fit your bike that might keep costs down. As I remember there was an oil pump drive gear, primary tensioner, front mount....Maz could fit them to your bike to keep costs down a bit... :D

Tom, if you really think this place is just another forum, then you need to check this out because without the fantastic peeps of UKBEG, your bike wouldn't be on a lift in a shop that wouldn't even exist

I do IBIS.

It's good that the forum is so vocal. By definition that's what a true forum is right? (According to the the OED)

It's a great site for anyone wanting to take a plunge and buy and maintain one of these weird, wonderful, terrible bikes.

You obviously didn't get your 'welcome' gift when you joined. It's a cellar of salt, you take a pinch with most things.
