Love this bike but I ride in town a lot so looking for a lightning.

I hate to put doubt in your mind, but a Lightning won't be any different in town. They dislike low speed and become 'lumpy' to ride.

Get yourself a scoot for round town riding and save your Buell for pleasure... :yup:

:yt: good advice buell babe :D

I disagree...

Lightning vs Firebolt: same engine, so why would it be lumpier? Different riding position - more upright; more comfortable in town.

If you're talking about XB9 vs Xb12, then thats a different conversation as he didn't specify which engined Lightning he's looking for.

I ride my XB9 Lightning through London every day and don't find it lumpy, particularly if you know how to use a clutch.

You need a new top yoke, from a Lightning, then find somewhere to relocate your ignition key. I've heard some people also say that you will need a longer clutch cable and front brake hose, but unsure.

Also lookout for bar/cowling interference.

Another way is different clip ons, but very expensive.
