A 3K loan from just about anywhere will cost you less in interest than selling the bike and then buying another

Rick you should have no trouble selling that bike. Only trouble is trying to convince you to hang on to it.
if it goes I seriously hope someone will care for it as much as you have. In fact it should be a condition of sale that the new owner be vetted ;)

,,,y'know Rick, I've just had a tot-up of how much I've spent on mine,,and projected expected expense to get her back on the road,,,I'm getting on for 6 1/2 grand, closer to 7 by the time I've finnished (for this year) ..and that is with mates on here getting parts for me at cost  ,,,boy are you going to be kicking yourself balck-n-blue a couple of weeks after selling that bike,,,

Kicking myself all ready but I can't afford to mothball her and can't afford to spend the money she deserves or needs in the future a no win situation.

At least I hope Andy gets as much pleasure as I have, and that thought makes me happy. Hopefully he's picking her up this afternoon (Sunday).

Back home now.. and knackered after setting off at 10 this morning.. What a sodding journey.. :(

Thankfully the M1 was shut at junction 29ish so I got to come off the motorway for about 30 mins and have a bit of a play. I left Maryanne in the car sat in traffic whilst I cleared off ahead. :D. It's true I've gone and bought myself a beauty. I'm a very happy man. :D :D

Rick, I can see why you going to miss the bike. Let's say that I'm just looking after it for you. It'll be here for you if you ever find yourself up this way. In all honesty if you fancy it back for a weekend or so, you'll just need to make that epic journey up here to get it.

It's great to be back on 2 wheel and even better to be back on a Buell.

Hope you enjoy the Grolsch Rick.. I'm going to enjoy one myself now...!
