Stage 1 Dynojet from new
SP Performance exhaust (Italian, if I remember correctly) Has a deep but not overly loud tone and is very nicely put together. Fitted to replace life expired V&H in 2005
Seat reupholstered and new mirrors and HT leads fitted in 2009
Carb cleaned and refitted with new seal to manifold, tank drained, new fuel tap and filler cap "O" ring fitted 2009
No MOT (expired 05/10)- Tax to 04/11
I have drained the carb and run the engine every few months until recently. As the fuel in the tank is now ancient it has become reluctant but with fresh and a clean carb it should be fine again.
There are minor scuffs on the fork legs from using a U-lock when the bike was new and cracks in the plastic rear section from the few months before I realised it couldn't support the U-lock behind the number plate like my old Honda had!
There's a scuff on the LH fork slider and a scuff under the black tape on the front mudguard from my dropping it onto a kerb while going slightly too far left before making a U-turn on a narrow road!
Other than that it's just old. The fork seals definitely need replacing and new tyres would be a good idea.
Photos taken yesterday, after no more than a quick squirt of Muc-Off and a rinse, are on my Flickr stream at
http://www.flickr.com/photos/11056653@N03/sets/72157626178801759/I have owned this bike from new, it served me well and I'd rather it didn't get chopped or broken up just yet so I'm advertising it here before anywhere else. To be collected with van or trailer from mid-Surrey. I'm realistic as to its age and condition so any sensible offer may secure.
