Oooooh, bit harsh?? I'm the present owner of the 'laughable' bike in question, it was put on the forum blind by a mate as a favour, and he posted the (inaccurate) info that I gave him, so they were my words, not his. I bought the bike when my wife announced the imminent arrival of our first sproglet in an attempt to slow down a wee bit, traded my Yamaha R1 in for it, and because I liked the look of it so much. I buy bikes to ride, and have fun. I wouldn't dream of be-rating anyone for their lack of knowledge, but I would perhaps encourage them to learn more about these fabby machines in an attempt to promote conversation bourne of a mutual interest, and respect.
I learnt more about my bike in a couple of hours the other day than I had in the five or so years (the last three garaged!) I've owned it when two VERY knowledgable guys came round and gave the bike the once over for me, and also because I didn't know anyone else who had one!!!
Anyways, I'm not a numpty, I've got an Honours Doctorate in Astro-physics. I just don't know much about Buells, but hopefully reading the NICE posts on this forum will increase my knowledge.
