XB12 Super TT
2007
8900 miles
Full service history - oil and filter changed every 2,500 miles, new wheel bearings with tyres
MOT til November
Tax up end of July (£38 for 6 months)

Best of the XB range. Long wheelbase and raised ride height make it the best handling version of the best handling bike around - more stable than the shorter wheelbase bikes which I find a bit twitchy. 1203 motor is great - always has grunt. Increased tank size from long frame makes it more practical.

As a 2007 model it has the large diameter headers, from 2008 onwards the bikes had narrower headers to comply with emissions regulations which reduced power by ~10hp.
With the new headers came a change from a DDFI2 to a DDFI3 ECU. The DDFI2 ECU is easy to connect to a freely available ECMSpy program for your PC, the DDFI3 ones not so much and require you to pay for newer, more expensive software.
Often the DDFI3 bikes have running problems which are difficult to cure, and run the loud fan all the time as opposed to just when the engine is hot or you park up.

Always been looked after and had money spent on it. I’ve had it since it had 500 miles on it - bought from the Harley dealer. Lots of preventative maintenance done from low miles to prolong longevity. Low miles for the year. Mostly ridden around town and a couple of longer weekend trips touring round the UK. Garaged over winter.

Comes with:
Uprated Erik Buell Racing front disk
EBC HH pads
5.1 fluid
EBR brake mounting kit (helps stop disk warping over time by improving heat transference to wheel)
K&N air filter
Tubbs (from Moorespeed racing/UKBEG forum) modified standard exhaust. Slight mid range increase, nicer sound. Looks standard so no trouble with MOTs and keeps the jacking points which are handy.
Remapped for pipe and filter
Pirelli Angel ST tyres with good depth of tread left on them (good for a couple of thousand)
Buell OEM heated grips (wired in with auxiliary connector behind flyscreen, separately fused, ignition switched)
Uprated headlamp bulbs, rewired headlights so both on for full beam (Big improvement and easily reversible - just change two connectors over)
Custom XBDashboards dash background
Buell OEM right hand scoop (original fairing piece included)
Bar end weights/sliders
Frame pucks
Axle sliders
New, most recent spec, drivebelt - 1500 miles
Heat wrapped headers (easily removable)
White chin spoiler
White rim tape

Spare parts:
Handguards and mounting hardware (lever bolts and alternative bar ends)
Original trim piece on right side of engine where scoop is now fitted
Original dash background (v. easy to change)
Original headlight bulbs

Modifications for increased long term reliability:
Rerouted crankcase breathers
Maz grease nipple for output shaft bearing (topped up every 1250 miles)

£4500

Extras:
Buell tank bag - £50
Buell panniers for lightning long (hardly used) - £60
2006 XB Buell Service Manual - £20
SS touring seat (gel - very comfy) - £75
FS Tensioner - £75
White front fender (some scratches around mounts on one side) - £20
Black pillion pegs and hangers - £40
R & G crash bar (mounts across engine, slight scrapes to one slider and one silver plastic bit on it) - £75
USB lead to connect to PC for ECMSpy or other software - £15
Rizoma tail tidy (£160), wired with banana connectors to fit standard loom and RRSend adjustable number plate bracket (£20) as well as 4 mini arrow indicators (£20) (use bulbs not LEDs so no fucking around with resistors etc) - £120
Scratched black swingarm brace for long swingarms - £10
OEM brake rotor, 5000 miles, a few deposits on it but not warped - £35 (over £200 new)
Tuono mirrors (nice looking, screw straight in) - £15
2007 spec drive belt, 6000 miles, good condition - £35 (over £200 new). Good for a spare.
BNIB front muffler strap - £7
XB9SX tail piece insert (black) - £5
New Lightning rider’s footpegs (pair) - £15
BNIB rear axle spacer - £7
BNIB front axle spacer - £7
Front and rear SKF bearing set - £15
OEM front brake lever (black, some scratches on the end) - £7
BNIB front muffler mount bushings - £3
Right hand switchgear - £10
Left hand white chin spoiler piece - £5
Black chin spoiler - £30

Or as a job lot with the bike for £500.

Bike currently has extras fitted and TBH I think they work really well with the bike - the pics are with them all fitted.

So, £5000 for everything or £4500 for the bike in the Comes With and Spare Parts spec

Please don't message me about the extras/parts - whoever buys the bike gets first refusal on them - if they don't take them I'll make a new For Sale post

Thanks

The prices next to the extras are to give an indication of their value - and that's second hand prices, not how much they were new

Yeah, sure, why not?
In fact I'll chuck the wife in on the deal if I like the buyer's chat.

Was that you giving it a good wash on the way down the M90 yesterday? That rain would have sorted out your stag night hangover!

Yeah, it was actually!

I was absolutely soaked. My 'waterproof' trousers likely need reporting under the Trade Description Act. I was sitting in a cold puddle that was inside my own trousers - it sloshed back and forward when I breaked/accelerated. Did consider pissing myself to warm it up for a little bit.

Once the water started dribbling down in my boots I really wanted to kill myself.
