Nooooooooooooo........... :uhoh:

When I flogged my last Ducati, a bloke phoned up and said he was interested but couldn't see it for a week. I told him if someone else came along in the meantime with the dosh, then I'd flog it to them. Fair enough he said.
A couple of hours later, a Dealer local to me, phoned up and asked if the bike was as good as I said it was. I told him it was, and he asked for my bank details to transfer the money. As a matter of courtesy, I phoned up bloke No.1 and told him it was sold. He asked who bought it, so I told him that it was xxxxDealer. He said that they were a bunch of bastards because he was a good customer of theirs and while waiting for his bike to have some Warranty work done, he mentioned my advert to one of the salesmen in the shop and said he was very interested. This salesman then phoned me up within minutes with his offer.
After hearing this story, I phoned the Dealer up, checked he hadn't already sent the money, and then told him that I wasn't going to sell him the bike because I didn't like the way he did business lOl
This confused the shite out of him 8-)
Bloke No.1 duly turned up, and had the bike :yup:

The car is now on e bay classified ads lOl
This car selling lark is funny as fuck :yup:
Had a woman today asking me how much I wanted for it....I told her to read the advert to me and did say that I was flexible on the price.
I then got a sob story of epic proportions and an offer that was 950 quid less than the asking price lOl

Then tonight I had a call from a poor student who had offered me 3050 for it...I would have let him have it at that price, but tonight he was offering 2950 because he has to get a driver to bring him 160 miles and it is going to cost him 100 pounds to do this...He told me he had arranged the insurance etc. for collection at 7 AM in the morning....He has had to unarrange it lOl

Sympathy purchasers can fuck right off......Just where in the fuck are these people coming from??????? Fucking weirdos...

A nasty business I agree. The ones that really piss me off is when they have read 'No Offers' in the advert and then come around making one
This nearly cost the bloke who bought my Xtra Raptor an additional £100 lOl
He nearly fuckin' choked at the reply when he asked me if 'I'd reconsider the price' :o 8-)

lOl lOl lOl Fucking classic.

I bought the missus another car today (Focus) from a guy in Hinton, near Sammy Millers. Looked around it, test drove it, checked the paperwork, handed over the cash and drove it home. Job done.
We were out 2 hours.

I had a Piaggio Beverly 500 2 years ago.. on which I had a crash that resulted in a bent fork.
I still used it daily, it just used to pull a bit to the left.
Anyway, I had paid it £1300 and sold it for £1200 after 1 year with the whole bent fork.

The guy that bought it handed me the cash and didn't even want to test run it.

i remember when we sold the mrs' fiat 127 sport - smashing little thing, loads of fun but a typical italian rust bucket: we knew that it was going to fail its next MOT ( a month or so away ) with a long list of welding etc needing doing so we stuck it up for sale.

some guy came round and bought it for his wife - didnt want to test it or anything - we did point out that it would need some work but he said he didnt care - he was divorcing her and just wanted to leave her something to remember him by.

Bastid, I want one, but I'm too tight to pay the UK price, knowing how much less they cost in Bass Pro or Dick's Sporting Goods in the States.

I'm just waiting for the right job to come along that requires crates returned from the U.S.
