Probably of most interest to the Southern Posse.

I've 2 work benches sat at my parents in Wimborne. They're solid steel with heavy marine ply surfaces - 40mm thick (iirc) Not particularly high - good engine work height iirc. They originally came from an engineering company one of my uncles had - But I replaced the tops.

Sorry no piccies. And no size info - it's been a while. However I'm sure my dad would be happy to show anybody interested the beasts.

There is also a smallish steel cabinet with some drawers. Was actually for storing computer data cards - but it's pretty strong. Again cobwebby.

My plan was to one day "export" them to Spain - And had half planned to do so this coming Jan. But it makes no sense at all now. For the additional cost on the ferries of the ChavRover and a Trailer I can buy/make new benches here (and to be honest I'm no longer sure where I'd put them). So I'm better off travelling using the Citroen and just transporting the small stuff.

Any use to anybody? They're in a shed in my dads garden. The shed is double skinned and dry inside so they're cobwebby but nothing more. I want to empty the shed so my dad has more room.

Cost Zero: A small contribution to UKBEG funds would be appreciated however.

Whomsoever decides they want them - you'd have to collect and manhandle (you'll not do it alone) as my Dad is not in a fit state to help.

Well get a bloody move on then. :P

They've been sat there since the late '80's so it's hardly a matter of urgency.

My dad wants the shed - otherwise you'd only have needed the house.

Please make yourself clearer.

Allegedly fitted up?
Allegedly craftsmen?
Allegedly unknown?

The Benches btw seem to have found a new home - Mr RMC apparently believes them to be perfect for Yorkshire usage.

According to my dear old dad. RMC's family delivery man has removed said benches.

Good job he turned up in a 4WD as his Satnav sent him up a road that is ruddy dire.

Wimborne/Ferndown folk may know a road called Giddylake. :shut:
