Mev, I'll take: G - NRHS 004-NAIL3563TSK-BH1250cc cylinders with NEW Hurricane pistons c/w piston rings and wrist pins, NRHS 003-NRHS-STG2TSLGT-Light thunderstorm stage 2 light cylinder heads and H - Set of S & S adjustable pushrods I've an M2 and these are just what I've been looking for (I'm sure they'll fit, I've checked NRHS's web site but give me a shout if you know any reason they won't). How do you want paid? I live in Guildford - if you're down in Fareham I could pay on collection? Let me know. Chico Mob: 07760-478005 Email: whitby.ian@gmail.com |

Mev, I'll also take: J. Set of XB rocker boxes I just remembered that these will let the M2 heads vent through the top of the rocker rather than the side - so should stop it puking up so much oil. Thanks, |

Mev, Likewise - thanks for the cuppa. I'll have a chat with Tubbs this week and get the NRHS barrels/heads installed in time for the TT races. Can't wait to have an engine as aggressive as the brakes & handling on my setup. Thanks again for all the advice and if you find a set of Dymag wheels in your shed that you don't need just let me know... ![]() All the best, Chico |

Mev, Spoke to Tubbs today and will get the Buell down there this weekend. Thanks for the contact/introductions - really nice bloke and very knowledgeable. After a bit of discussion, I'm (er, sorry, Tubbs) is going to fit the barrels and heads, set up the carb and dyno it. I'll use the standard cams as the SE 536s seem to give mixed results. I wondered about lightening & balancing the crank but lighter components (e.g. Carillo rods) are rare as Unobtanium and apparently the crank's pretty well balanced as is (unlike the rider ![]() He gave me some tips/ideas about improvements in the drivetrain which can yield a further 2-3bhp at the back wheel (who'd have thought it!). These are easy to do so I'll do that myself and take it back in a few weeks to stick on the dyno again. I have 2 or 3 stainless exhaust systems (2 at 2" outlet; 1 at 2 1/2") which all need a bit of minor welding. Forgot to ask him - do you know if he welds stainless stuff? Also thanks for the heads-up on Race Labs. I'll get down there after I've had the motor worked on. It annoys me that, despite reading up and thinking I understand the theory, I just don't seem to have the knack of setting up suspension. So time to admit defeat, get it set up properly, write down all the settings and start fiddling from that point (until it's ruined again!)... Anyroadup, thanks for your help and take it easy. Chico |

Does Tubbs weld stainless? I would be amazed to find something he doesn't do. I am sure the last time I was at Moorespeed I saw him tigging something on the bench (not you Tigs!) before he started work on Beelzeebub (my little devil). |
