Blurb: 2004 Buell Firebolt XB12R, first registered in 2005. 11,400 miles on the clock. Very nice condition, with numerous important modifications, roughly £1500 spent whilst in my posession, with receipts for more in the records of previous owners. Bike is also fitted with a Corbin seat. Since October the bike has had:

Stealth Engineering S/S Exhaust with a beautiful mellow tone at the low end with a stunning bellow at the top
Adjustable shorty levers in black/gold colours
Erik Buell Racing 6mm finned front disk matched with EBC HH sintered pads, Dot 5.1 fluid and EBR mounting kit.
Full 10,000 mile service up at Just Buells in Manchester (see photos) in which most of the rolling chassis bearings were replaced in the bike apart from the rear wheel bearings which were deemed to be in good condition. Even the belt wheel had the bearings punched out and replaced. Steering head bearings replaced, swingarm bearings replaced, forks rebuilt and refilled, suspension set up for my weight (circa 14st in full riding gear), bike remapped, new oil pressure sender, oil and filter, new K&N air filter, lube plug mod on the belt pulley bearing, crankcase breather mod, and more I can't remember off the top of my head.

. Despite not likeing the XB series of Buells that much (well documented on here 
), he described this particular bike as quite nice, that is a compliment I was very happy with. Service takes 2 days of labour and cost £875, was a nice journey up and down too :lol: Bike has two issues that were brought up in the service. The clutch cable could do with replacing as the holder is the old style type and it has cut through the cover allowing water into the cable assembly and rust to form. The other issue is that when the bike was being run after the remap it revealed an issue with a lazy lambda sensor, could do with changing whenever the rear header is accessible next, both issues are not particularly urgent though.
Bike has a few marks on it here and there, has after all done 11k miles. Other than that bike is MOT'd till may and I see no reason it wouldn't just fly through the next MOT. Tax is good till november this year. Also has personal registration 'R12XBR' which will go with bike.
Also with this bike is a spare key, original owners manual, ECU link cable, ECM spy software (if you feel like fiddling with the fuel maps), all previous MOTs, V5 document, recepits and bills of work carried out etc.
Selling because a bike has come up I really need to buy, and the riding position on this bike is quite brutal. I had a big crash 4 years a go and it left me with injuries that this bike aggravates, so it's this one that has to go!
Looking for £4,000 ONO. Price is negotiable, not really looking for part-exs as I'm going to try and track down a CCM FT35S.
