"All recalls done." Looks like the old style shock to me.

Doesn't the style of shock depend on when the recall was done? The first ones got the longer shock instead of the WP original and didn't get the subsequent shorter shock?

The first recall ones were then decided to be weak so a lot were issued with the SRP (shock reinforcement package) ....this was a stop gap until the final Showa shock was used.
That look s like a shock that should at least have had the SRP bolted to it ;)

Since I missed the official Buell recall, I personally recalled the shock on the Grenade and fitted an AST, then I did it on the Firebolt, then the Uly then the Son of Grenade... :ill:

Yeah thats what I thought but my bike didn't have the SRP fitted, but was only missing 2 recalls, indicator flasher and tank retaining upgrade according to the Harley database. It might have had the SRP fitted but previous owner might have taken it off as it looked dreadful?
