So, Spook, does that mean you think it's worth the asking price ?

People have paid much more for S1WLs in the high 6ks as I recall so if someone has been looking for one then I would have though it was a realistic price. If no-one wants it now keep it and put the word out that its still for sale. Eventually someone will come along that wants one and will pay the price.

If I was oldtyner I wouldn't let it go for auction but just hang onto it (unless money is needed).

Its not like its going to be easy to find another low mileage one in good nick.

Put some pictures up and help the sale.

Just seemed strange that you endorsed this bike, when you usually scoff at prices asked for tubers.......especially if I've had anything to do with them :?

I know this bike and commented as such. If S1WL are worth £6k in the summer months why can't a mint X1 be worth £5k?
I appreciate your expertise on Buells is second to none and would agree that if you have 'Mazzed' a Buell it definitely is worth more money. Still doesn't mean I like you though.

Never. S1, X1 etc are all genuine Buells. M1 what's that if it's not a chop? That poor lad you all persuaded to buy that M1 is going to get a rude awakening if he ever tries to part-ex it outside this forum. The salesman will laugh, M1 wtf that?

Anyway if it was 'fully Mazzed' why didn't you put a Pro-lite on it?

Yeah, righto, whatever  .....customer didn't ask for/want/need a Prolite and that particular 'M1' doesn't have the frame mod, so can go back to std. tail section etc. if required......and who is this salesman you speak of that would even know what an M1 or even an M2 was.......and why would anyone want to part ex. an 11 year old bike anyway :?
I'm done here......let the geezer with the X1 get on with his sale
