As alluded to elsewhere, I've decided to sell my Firebolt. I only bought it myself last summer and have covered less than 500 miles since then, but as I have the house for sale and quite a few other things going on right now that are keeping me busy so the poor Firebolt is spending most of the time languishing in the garage behind my other bikes.

The previous owner fitted the Renthal bars in place of the clip ons. (I have the original headstock which I will give to the new owner when it sells).

Mileage is currently 6200. I am using it to ride to/from work when the weather is decent so that may well be higher when sold.

The MOT expires 23 June . I have got all the old MOT's which verify the mileage and someone has done a HPi check too, but of course feel free to do your own if you wish.

The Road tax expires at the end of August

The bike is pretty much stock apart from the handlebar conversion. (see the photos) The tyres were new last year, Conti Sport Attack's . I have a receipt for a new drive belt which was fitted in 2011. I have the handbook and both keys. The bike also has a Meta alarm fitted, two fobs for that also.

Condition? Very good, but not immaculate if I'm honest, its a clean bike which rides very well, which is why I bought it.

Price : £2900 firm If I don't get that for it I'll happily keep it, I'm not desperate for the cash, but I will donate £50 of that to club funds if it sells to a member on here.

PM me on here if you want a look or you want any other specific details. I'm based in sunny Scarborough on the Yorkshire coast.

As the MOT is quite short, I'll get it re-tested for any potential buyer and include that in the price. So effectively it will come with 12 months MOT. :)

I said if I sell the bike as a result of the ad I placed here that I would donate to site funds, I'm a man of my word.

I presume you mean 'have I sold it to someone from Germany?' The answer is no. A very nice young chap from the North East (of England) is the new owner and I hope he has a lot of fun with the bike. :)

Was a great ride home, after mucking about with the insurance company for another 15 minutes after you left, got there in the end :)

I'm glad you got home OK Micky, it must've been getting dark before you left! I hope you have a lot of fun with the Firebolt. They are a very different bike to ride, I always came home after a run out with a grin on my face. For any technical help regarding the bike itself, the guys and gals on this site are very helpful and knowledgeable.
