Beta Alp 4.0 Trials motorcycle: Beta’s road/trials machine with the bomb-proof DR 350 Suzuki engine. 53 plate. 14,000kms A very capable trials machine at home on the hills as much as on the roads. I have won a handful of medals on it – a gold included. It has a brand new chain and sprockets for the road with the trials sprockets and chain included. Home-made route-book, sump-guard, chain-guard, hand-guards, luggage rack with a cavernous army pannier. Used properly with a slightly ‘ratty’ appearance but well cared for and regularly serviced by me (oil change every couple of trials). A collection of spares included. A really super machine. £1,495. Contact Julien

Cheers Ratty - now there's a thought 8-) - had to go to see my daughter today - 6 hrs around M25 etc: - the Alp handled it well cruising at around 65-70 with ease although my poor arse is now in shock - the bikes not really made for this type of travel and the seat is a killer ( wishing I could still handle the M2 and all that comfort :( ) - although to be fair the Alp was really great when traffic slowed and quick manoeuvring became the order of the day :D

Someone will get a great little bike here.....

Indeed......

I have found several now with re-padded seats like mine.....

700 Miles round trip on a Lands End Trial wasn't that bad....

But Julien being over 6 foot tall just sat on the Pillion part of the seat of his when riding... lOl

Not to make you feel bad or anything but your old M2 took me the 2 hour trip up to Maz's place on Saturday then back again in almost armchair like comfort ;) .......(albeit a fairly 'spirited' armchair! )

Gotta say though, seeing Maz's S2 made me remember what a really comfy Buell they are...

It still makes me smile every time I get on it....
