Hi,

I am now selling my XB9SX and was advised this forum wold be a great place to advertise.

This bike was one of the latest to be manufactured, and was only registered at the end of November 2012. As such, it has a 62 plate.

The bike has only covered 400miles since then - and is in immaculate condition as can be seen in the pictures.

If anyone is interested, I would be happy to answer any questions.

Regards,
Paul

The bike is on eBay here:

Paul, welcome to UKBEG.
As you are using the site simply as a medium to sell your bike, I hope you will be honourable enough to make a donation if it sells 8-)

Hi,

I think that is a fair suggestion! I had already read about the request for donations to support the site, and would be happy to help when I sell the bike.

Although this is my first post, I have been using the site for the last 9 months, just reading posts to learn more about buell and my bike (and its made my decision to sell harder).

I hope also it may be of benefit to someone in this site if they are able to buy this fantastic example of a rare model ;)

Cheers
Paul

Hey Paul,

It's such a shame you didn't just sign up and join in with the social side of this forum when you first found us...it will be something you may regret...we are a friendly lot, honest!!

Shame you are selling your bike, but good luck with the sale. Hopefully it may find a new home int he UK instead of the usual sell-off to Germany..

Give the guy a break, he registered in Dec last year. Just cos he hasn't posted before doesn't mean to say he only joined to sell his bike.

I am sure if he has met Jill before now, he would not be selling his bike, but hey... that's the way the world turns.

Paul, belated welcome, good luck selling your bike...

PS. What is your reserve? What would you take cash? May help your sale...

Hi,

The forum has been a great place to learn and pick up info on the particularities of Buell ownership :)

You guys seem to know alot more than me, so I never really had anything to post!

Anyway, I would take cash for the bike. It's reserve is set at £5k, but I would ideally like to get a bit more than that. Will have to see how the auction goes and if I get any offers.

Apologies if I have caused any issues by posting on here to sell - but I am just a Buell enthusiast too and looking to a like minded audience to see my bike.

Thanks,
Paul

Nice bike, a couple of questions though, why did you buy it, and why are you selling it :?:

Maybe, maybe not lOl I'd have put more than 400 miles on it in the first week, and would want to continue to do so. My usual first question to a seller of a bike is "why are you selling it?", and if they've only done 400 miles on it I'd also query why they bought it in the first place.

I have always wanted to own a Buell, and came across a unique opportunity to purchase this rare example, new, even though they were not on the general market. Didn't want to pass up that opportunity.

Due to a variety of reasons I have not been able to ride it that much, although I have enjoyed the miles I did.

Now 9months on, I would like to sell before another year of tax and insurance comes up for renewal.

I bought my Uly with 266 miles on it, it had sat for two years. The guy bought it, rode it a few times then the weather went bad and he garaged it. He then moved house and other things took his time up. Knowing he would probably never ride it for the foreseeable future, he put it up for sale...

I was lucky enough to pick up a low mileage Uly just as someone will pick up a low mileage XB here...

Lets look at another bike, the XB12XP advertised here. It has covered three and a half thousand miles in as many years which is a thousand miles a year. This XB has done 400 in 6 months. Not very different.

I am hoping that someone from here who hankers after a 2010 XB will make a cash offer and get the bike they have been waiting for...

It will go to Germany if they have any money left.

I have now accepted an offer and taken a deposit on the xb.

I have also requested details to make a contribution to the running of this forum, once the sale goes through :)
