As you will probably know, a lot of Buell stickers are no longer available.

Myself and another forum member wanted some stickers, so I went forth to get them made at a sticker shop (with the help of our good friend Stinkerbill).

As ever, it is not a simple task, I had to get them screenprinted, which has set up charges and the result is not cheap by any means.

I got a few sets done, hoping to sell some on at cost to share the cost of the setup.

Here are some pics with the Buell intended use (you can use them anywhere)...

For Black (Manta and small tank) / Silver (Manta and small tank) / Yellow (Manta and small tank) / Red (small tank only)

The small sticker is what is needed for the Twin Tail.

I'll need to check the figures, however I think for two tank stickers and the flyscreen and seat cowl stickers, we are looking at £25 posted. I'll need to confirm before I fulfill orders.

I have fewer Twin Tail stickers, but they are available, again I will need to think of a price.

Note that other people have got stickers made:

...but one big faux pas here... The stickers are handed, although the parts book only shows one side, the one these guys have copied.

PM me if you want some, if demand outstrips supply, I'll get some more made up...

Cheers

Nick

Ha... Not a bad guess, £24.80 which includes:

2 x tank stickers
2 x flyscreen / seat cowl stickers
1 x resealable bag
1 x A4 hard backed envelope
1 x first class stamp
1 x printed address label
1 x return address label

I got the standard S1 and Lightning Strike colours. They could be done in black but it would be another set up charge.

So the top one is white Buell and grey American Motorcycles.

The bottom one is like the American Talk ad in colour.

So, just to clarify...

The top set is equivalent to the following Buell part numbers:

14602-95Y - DECAL, fuel tank (white/gray) - this went on all S1 colours in 96 and 97
14683-96Y - DECAL, S1 Lightning - this went on all S1 colours in 96 and 97
14737-98Y - DECAL, twintail (all except molten orange model)(white/gray)

The bottom set is equivalent to:

14740-98Y - DECAL, fuel tank, left side (molten orange model)(white/blue)
14741-98Y - DECAL, fuel tank, right side (molten orange model)(white/blue)
14739-98Y - DECAL, windscreen & tail (molten orange model)(white/blue)
xxxxx-98Y - DECAL, twintail (molten orange model)(white/blue) - this was never a Buell part, instead concocted by me ;)

See here and here...

See attached for the stickers in place...

I'd like a set of the Molten Orange fitment, assuming that they are better than the American Torque ones.

I purchased a set of the ones you linked in October, but only got round to fitting them today as I was out of the country with work until yesterday. Though they do get the 'look' I was after (I didn't like the black pegasus logos fitted when I bought the bike) and I am not too bothered about them not being handed correctly.

I am however disappointed with the quality. The vinyl is 'thin' and therefore the white is very slightly orange on the tank and some of the blue shadow detail shows a slight white edge, I assume as the line up of the clolour layers and the cutting is not quite right.

Hopefully the photos below show what I mean,

Shame your 'lightning' flashes have an S1 overlaid........as I was hoping that I could sling one on the 'windshield' of my X1....
