Hi All,
Sadly I'm thinking of selling my 2005 XB1200s Lightning.
It's done 9,400 dry miles and is in top condition.
Black with Daytona silver stripe paint and amber wheels.
Taxed and MOT'd till July 2014.
Remus exhaust.
Rizoma grips and bar ends.
Pazzo levers.
R&G crash bobbins.
Free Spirits adjustable belt tensioner.
Light clutch assembly.
New Motobatt battery.
Spare HD drive belt.
Datatool Alarm system.
She rides beautifully!

I think it should go for around £5,750.
PM me for photo's ect.....

Wild henry.

Hi All,
About ready to sell now I'm sad to say.
I thought I might offer it to you Buell boys before the dreaded fleabay/biketrader route!
PM me with sensible offers and more details.

Cheers,
Wildhenry

Sorry? You'll be having a laugh.
I bought an all carbon 2005 XB12s for £4250 and that was in 2008. It had everything on it and done to it, and all with less than 4000 miles.

I think you will have to lower your financial expectations.

That is quite an optimistic price!

And just ready for a 10K service, good look with that.

Yeah maybe I'm being a bit optimistic!
But these bikes are getting rare and sought after.
I could be talked into parting with it for say £4,500.00

I think the Germans are the highest payers at the moment and 07 models with less miles are not attracting that much...

Good luck though... When I cash mine in, I will want as much as I can get... Let's face it, who wouldn't???

Thanks for that Dunk 1976........
I think my bike is well worth £4.5K.
I imagine that as time goes by they will fetch even more than the going price right now.
Look at the Brough Superior SS 100 that recently fetched 286 thousand pounds!!!
I don't expect to live that amount of time of course but might consider leaving it to my Grand children.
I think Buell's will go down in motorcycle history as one of the most exciting ground breaking bikes ever made and thus will become highly collectable in the not so distant future.
IMHO!

Wildhenry.
