I have four of these Tramontia Amazonas Two, Knives for sale.

Having a sort out....

I bought these a few years ago.

Now discontinued by Tramontina.

So might be the only new ones left anywhere.

Made in Brazil.

Excellent stainless steel.

Tough, Solid piece of Hard use kit.

Full Tang.

Hammer / Glass breaker in handle end.

Synthetic rubber handle.

5 1/4 inch Blade. (6 inches to the handle).

6 shallow serrations right at the end of the blade.

Nylon Sheath with Polythene insert and Velcro handle loop.

Neon leg tie.

Sold originally as a Camping / Diving / Fishing Knife.

The hole in the Blade is apparently for stringing fish on a line...

(Think Amazon).

Special Buell UK. Price....

£25 Each... Including postage. (Second Class Signed for).

(Or do a deal on 2 or more.....)... :D

If not sold here, they will be on my stall (along with other Camping and Survival items.)...at Popham Mega-meet this year....

All the best.
Ratty.

Seen on another forum:

'I realise this is a bit of an old topic,
but for what it's worth-
Twenty years ago I bought eight of these Amazonas Twos
(one for each of my kids plus my wife and myself)
and over the years I've bought half a dozen more as gifts.
We live on 15 self-sufficient acres in western Canada
and my kids grew up out of doors.
They have used their A-2s for everything
from skinning bears and cougars
to building fires and shelters.
These knives are still in daily use.
One knife has a small dent on the edge
and another has lost a quarter of an inch from the tip,
no doubt from being used as a pry bar.

The blades take a shaving edge,
but that's as sharp as they get.
Quite adequate,
but you won't be quartering human hairs with them.

Five thumbs up-
if I could find a local source again
I'd buy a few more to start the grandkids on.'

Does he sound like a cool dad or what! :yup:
