Well it is now time to sell my much loved 1125r.It has just been MOT'D and has about three months tax left. It has had all recalls done including rewound stator and modified rotor all done at Black Bear, and a service at the same time, it has only done about 300 miles since!

I have a young family to look after and really have no time to use it, I am not desperate for it to go and won't sell it unless I get a fair price offered, i have plenty more pictures I can send on request and ideally would love it to go to a fellow member of the ukbeg, it has covered about 4300 miles in total, the bike itself is in immaculate condition and I would welcome any viewings. Please PM me if interested.

Thanks it really has had no use unfortunately...so far as the price there are very few for sale when looking on ebay and that other forum across the pond, so that's why id rather put the feelers out and see what people are prepared to pay. :D

There's one in a dealer near me. It's up for £4295, but he told me he'd happily take £3700 for it, as it's been there a long time.
A lot of the owners on this site paid £4999 for them brand new.

Thanks for the info mojomick its very helpful,There are only 5 for sale on ebay and the prices vary so much.....I recon your dealer has a more accurate expectation as they do seem to sit there for a long while,i was kind of thinking around the £4200 mark, but i guess time will tell if anyone is interested and what they are prepared to pay.

Thanks again

I reckon £2750 is a good starting point... Otherwise stick it on eBay with no reserve.

I've got 3, the most paid was £3400 and the lowest £1300. Depends how much you need to sell it :)

Anywhere near £4k and you could be in for a wait. There may not be many on the bay at the mo, but it'll be because they didn't sell and they got sick of listing :)

Come see me for a remap and you might decide you want to keep it :D
It's free!!! What have you got to lose?

Yup, Pash's £2750 is about what I expect to pay now -and the last year or so- unfortunately they just don't stack up against any other modern machinery.

V twins don't do emission controls very well. How many KTM RC8s are on the bay now???

Mine went for £2.5 k 18 months ago, mind it had done more than 4000 miles.

I was looking for another one 6 months ago but couldn't find one for the right price so bought a Tuono. I should have waited.
