I have decided to sell my Yamaha RD350LC 1980 Hybrid.
Condition is supurb, I built the bike in 2010 and have done very little mileage since so its time to go, I'll list the highlights but anyone interested or any questions please ask.
1980 4l1 frame powder coated by Malden
Kr1s front forks fully refurbed legs ground by , new springs, oil, sliders polished
Kr1s calipers, brand new, pads brand new, ebc discs brand new
Kr1s front wheel, refurbed, new bearings and seals
Solid billet yokes, anodised black with risers, goodridge brake hoses, all new cables
JMC bespoke aluminium swingarm to suit Kr1s rear wheel, fully rebuilt Kr1s rear wheel
Fully rebuilt Kr1s rear brake, new ebc rear disc, new pads, goodridge hose, fully rebuilt rear mastercylinder billet aluminium mastercylinder mount.
Ohlins rear shock
New chain and sprockets
Rebore and pistons, engine fully rebuilt with all new seals, bearings where needed, 31k had only done 8000 miles before going into this bike
new tailpeice, side panels, Kr1s front mudgaurd, bellypan, everything painted stock white and blue by Dream machine and stunning
31k wiring with 4lo clocks (and all working)
Brand new allspeeds
Kr1s carbs with foam filters look as new
Clutch casing has lexan window machined with billet aluminium retainer.

There is loads more to this that I haven't mentioned, its truly lovely condition and if its to your taste will provide years of reliable service, I'm selling it because I just don't use it, someone will love it and it deserves to be used.
I'm looking for £4000, first to offer it owns it but not a penny less, sorry, trust me it cost a lot more to build it.

Looked at the mot's and have done 500 miles in 4 years, note to self, if I'm not going to use it then don't build it.

ebay 2 hours, a tip for you mate, almost anyone on a forum already has the make or model that forum is about, your then just hoping for a serial buyer to have it.
The bloke who has bought it has been trying to build his own but can't find the time, I'm just not even going to ask him anything about the project he has, thats the rehab working ;)

It was also priced to sell, if I could be arsed its worth another grand but then I would be plagued by picky anoraks and thats not my thing.

I have 10 bikes(had) and thats the story with most of them, I can't do with not using them really, if they aren't getting used its because I don't need them.

Well done Andy it looks fantastic and well worthy for the price, as all your bikes do. But ten is just far too greedy :o

He's a lucky guy. The spec on it was stunning. If i'd had a spare 4 grand AND an understanding wife i'd have been round in a flash. As it is i've neither :run: :run: .
I had one in the same colour as a yoof. A stage one beckett tune and TT100's it was errr...interesting handling. Trainers, a denim jacket and short gloves. It's a wonder i'm still here

I won't but I have a stack of 2 stroke projects using ypvs or various rd engines, I'll do them at some point.
