I have been contacted by a lady selling a mint, totally stock S1W Lightning Strike on behalf of an elderly friend. Machine is registered 1998 on an "S" plate, Molten Orange with Nuclear Blue frame, totally stock including breadbox air filter and rear hugger with licence plate attached, all recalls outstanding (so it still has White Power shock) and just 430 miles indicated. Paintwork appears not to have suffered from bubbling. The owner bought it new for 7700 GBP and expects to see this as a return on his investment. It was offered to me as a dealer 18 months ago and we were unable to come to an agreement. If anyone is seriously interested at the right money I will pass on contact details but I don't want to be responsible for getting this poor woman hassled by a load of bargain hunters My gut feeling is that it's probably worth 6000 GBP to the right buyer. 98 views and no interest for this Holy Grail of Buells? Maybe I should have mentioned it's Unique Selling Point of only having 430 miles on the clock Steve |

Ultimately it's a museum piece I suppose....the only way you will maintain any value in this bike is by not using it....and where's the fun in that? |
