Some years ago I was involved with writing the West Midland Rock Climbing guide, which retailed at £7.99. It's now out of print and clean copies are sold on climbing forums for £10-12 (although I have a little stash of them ;) ) I've seen these advertised on some sites for up to £80, so I don't think anyone actually buys them at these silly prices :?

I bought this book new for £40 and gave it to a colleague as a retirement present a couple of years ago thinking I'd get another. Doh they were out of print and now.....http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/ ... d&sr=&qid=

I did a similar thing with a book about the Herald of Free Enterprise.; bought for about a tenner and given to a Norwegian mate, then couldn't buy another. Don't want it at nearly fifty quid now.....http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/056100336X/s ... 863&sr=8-1

Cheers for that. An interesting looking bookshop in that well known Buell meeting place, Cassel. :worthy:
