What do you recon is honestly the crappest part of the X1? There's loads to choose from but what do you think is truly the most pony part on the bike?

Absolutely agree. Plenty of riders that have never learned any advanced riding or done track days to get to appreciate how a bike works. But I'm talking more specifically about the bike.

That replacement mount on the front of your bike isn't the best mate ;)

Why? How much are yours then and where are you flogging them? This is the one I have. Bought from billet-brain on eBay.

Mine are £150, anyone wanting one asks me for one or alternatively Maz stocks them.
Serious question now, how many miles have you done with that one on? I'm only asking because I have never seen one of mine ever have that much stone damage.
I'm not just blowing off by the way, mine are 10 times better than that part.

Andy

No worries. I fitted it and then went for a ride that ended up in Dusseldorf. No s**t. I went out for a ride one day and decided to pop over to Ypres to visit the war graves. The weather was so good I ended up in Germany.

Suppose ive done about 1200 on the bike from the overhaul to the belt giving out.

By the way. If I knew you were flogging a decent part I probably would have bought it. The one I got seemed to be the only one available when I went looking

If you mean one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Buell-Front-E ... _600wt_958 Oh dear. Ask in future, thats what a forum is all about. If Andy made XB front mounts i'd have one of those as well. They really are bomb proof. It's not a competition, the vast majority on here have been here for a good while and will give sound advice
