Hi all,

Unfortunately (and I really don't want to do this), I need to sell my XB12SCG to fund another project (buy an RX-7). I've been deperately trying to find a way to be able to have both but funds won't allow me to do this. I haven't got any pictures of it as it currently is, nor can I remember how many miles it's done (definitely less than 7k). I'll be able to get some real pictures next weekend when I get to the bike (I keep it at my parents house as my garage is horrendously unsafe and it leaks).

The bike is pretty much stock except for the following:

K&N Air filter
Remus side exhausts
Kellerman Micro Indicators + relay (both front and back)
RRC Cast Tail Unit
Motobatt Gel Battery
Rizoma Tomok Mirrors (both sides, Black)

There is also a plug on it for something (could be USB) but I can't remember what it was for or if it's even aftermarket as it was on the bike when I got it. If you look at the picture where the front of the bike is on the left, you can see the plug just in the gap underneath the seat.

I also have a bunch of other stuff to go with the bike as I was planning on keeping it longer but never managed to fit:

LSL Drag Bar Fat Alu Handlebars T6
LSL Clamps for the handle bars
Design Engineering Exhaust Wrap 1" Wide x 50ft Long (Titanium coloured)
Design Engineering Exhaust Wrap 2" Wide x 100ft Long (Titanium coloured)
8 x Design Engineering Stainless Steel Locking Ties 14" long
2 x Oberon Streetfighter Bar-End Mirror 75mm (Black)

I know how ridiculous it can be sat in traffic in summer with the exhaust manifold underneath your legs so I was hoping the exhaust wrap would help. Plus there is also a slight burn mark on it from the guy I bought it off as a towel or blanket brushed against it when it was hot an melted onto it.

I'm basing the price on another XB12SCG I saw for sale so offers in the £6k region (that includes everything listed here)?

The bike is also alpha dotted and comes with a ABUS GRANIT 68 VICTORY LOCK/CHAIN (at least I think that's the exact one, it could be something else but it looks identical to this chain/lock). I'll swap the alphadot registration over once I make the sale.

Cheers

James

Oh yeah, I have all the original bits as well (i.e. indicators, mirrors, tail) except the exhaust as that was changed at the dealer.

 If I may be so bold - I think £6K may be stretching it a bit. Try nearer the £4.5K mark and you may be lucky. Sell the 'extras' on an auction site to top it up a bit.

I don't think even Dirty Harry from Germany would want to pay anywhere near that much

I would prefer to have a just legal sized plate on it rather than one suited to a Caravan first

Understandable guys, hence the question mark after the price as I was more looking to see what I should ask for.

Thanks for the info.

It would be nice to think that they could make this money. They are getting scarcer and many good ones have headed over to Germany where they seem to be held in higher esteem, but it is encouraging how many folks have always wanted one and are now getting them.

Supply and demand? many folks have admired them before and now want them as they become more unobtainable :old:
